Abstract:
The article discusses and analyzes the cultural elements that denote the identity of our people, attested in C. Stere's novel Near the Revolution, but also in some of his journalistic or scientific articles. National values such as language, literature, folkloric traditions, knowledge, social philosophy etc. Both aspects of Romanian and European local identity are emphasized.
