Abstract:
M. Kogălniceanu presents one of the most outstanding cultural people of the last century: historian, writer, journalist, cultural and literary guide, diplomat, lawyer, philosopher of history, patriot and mentor of the Union of Romanian Principalities and national independence. He contributed to the creation of the modern Romanian state, to his international recognition, to the economic and cultural emancipation of the people. M. Kogalniceanu, has carefully developed and deepened ideas for the Union and ideas against aristocracy. He has worked as a journalist, historian, editor, literary, dignitary of the state. Throughout his lifetime he has been involved in the most important events, on cultural, political, social and, leaving indelible traces in all areas.
