Abstract:
In the context of increased community interest in school-level optional courses, the list of offers is of significant length and remains open. However, the development of a course curriculum needs to respect certain requirements. An optional course shall not repeat the contents and units of other mandatory or optional courses. It shall allow the building and development of specific competences, as stipulated by the curriculum and generated by key competences; respect a logical sequence of topics, be appropriate and adequate for the proposed students' age etc.
