dc.description.abstract	The repertory of symbols, ideograms, ornamental motifs from the Romanian art are nothing but ideational messengers of spiritual national and general - human values. In order to find and explain the meaning of existence, the mankind has always created the indices of values, which have lasted for millennia and stayed at thecosmogenesis of other values of the same essence. These ideation messengers, viewed by means of the repertoire symbols and ornamental motifs, built the image of the world and the whole universe. The tackled problem certainly deals with the plastic language of universal motifs, which deeply rooted in the Romanian culture where a series of symbolic connotations are enciphered into.	en_US
