Abstract:
This article focuses on the understanding of human creativity N.A. Berdiaev (1874-1948), an outstanding representative of Russian religious philosophy. Creativity, according to Berdyaev, is the vocation of man, his duty to God. True creativity always leads to God - pleasing transformation of the world. Creativity - free, is directed to a new world, but in terms of earthly existence could lose something very important. In the creativity there is a mismatch between the creative idea and achievement. To reduce this, the creator donates benefits of this world. The ideal of creativity, where this discrepancy would not be a theurgic, versatile synthetic creativity, achieved only through joint efforts of man and God.
