Abstract

This material is focused on complex topic of the cultural relationship between Islam and medieval Europe. In the context of the current conflict between the Muslim world and the Western Europe, where the determinant is the religious factor, the author offers the perspective of cultural dialogue present in the Middle Ages in relations between the two spaces. Studying the cultural interference between Islamic and Christian civilizations could serve as a model to relaunch the dialogue between the parties to overcome the conflict.
