Pe lângă semnificaţia aniversară, datele statistice pot servi pentru investigaţii de perspectivă, în cercetări istorice, geografice şi lingvistice, dar mai ales pentru studierea concretă a istoriei localităţilor din Republica Moldova.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	This year (2017) marks the 200th anniversary of the first census of Bessarabia carried out under the command of the Tsarist occupation authorities. Besides the anniversary significance, the statistical data can serve for prospective investigations, in historical, geographic and linguistic researches, but especially for the concrete study of the history of localities in the Republic of Moldova.	en_US
