Abstract

The phenomenon of begging is closely related to the phenomenon of poverty, the latter being probably one of the major factors leading to the act of begging. The begging individual can often be an individual who does not have a roof above his head, who may not have what he is eating on a particular day or who may not have what he / she dresses in winter (for example) and who may not have conditions of hygienic care. In a word, he is poor. In an attempt to get out of this poverty, he tends to use begging as the last solution or because he thinks it's the easiest way to make money.
