Abstract:
This article is devoted to the progress problem considered by the outstanding representative of the Russian religious philosophy N. A. Berdyaev (1874-1948). Berdyaev comes to a conclusion that the doctrine about progress in the 19th century, having lost a Christian orientation, became antipersonalistichny and immoral. Proceeding from this anti-christian teaching, sense of history is creation of earthly paradise, which will enter only, lived up to it, and all previous generations will be only means for this purpose. Berdyaev shows that in the conditions of this world evil elimination is impossible; and therefore there cannot be a general progress, forward growth of good, happiness and a celebration of reason. Progress in one relation does not exclude regress in other relation
