Abstract:
The study reflects the consequences of the Ribbentrop-Molotov Agreement on identity politics in MSSR that were intended to compromise national identity. There are analyzed some manipulation tactics of the Soviet regime as historical revisionism, the dissemination of myths concerning two distinct nations and languages etc. A special attention is given to resistance actions against the Moldovenism and highlighted the successes in favor of Romanianism (the 60s, 80s, and 90s of the twentieth century), and the attitude of revanchist parties towards the national values
