Abstract:
In the years 1917-1918 during the Union of Bessarabia with Romania, the priesthood had an important role in mobilizing the national forces. The outstanding personalities of the church in the region represented by Iurie Grosu, Alexandru Baltaga, Alexei Mateevici, Andrei Murafa were outstanding personalities who supported the generation of Union in the History Act of March 27, 1918
