Abstract:
The globalization and the intercultural process requires problems whose solution is conceived as source of mutual cultural enrichment. This situation allows advancement on safe tracks of teaching foreign languages and especially the training of future teachers whose role as mediator between cultures becomes indispensable. The goals of the investigation are the following: to demonstrate importance of cultural competences, to analyze the programs and the methods that forms them. The existence of cultural diversity, of intercultural barriers and the need for interaction confirm the importance of cultural skills.
