The cultural heritage has an important educative role. Due to the efforts of
Ana Bejan, during the years, the memory of national culture personalities
such as Grigore Vieru, Constantin Stere ,Imanuil Gavriliţă, Doina and Ion
Alde-Teodorovici is still alive in Soroca. Their creation is promoted through
cultural activities. With support, Ana Bejan built four churches of
Metropolis of Bessarabia, to restore the Museum „Constantin Stere” from
Ciripcău. She has a great role in the rehabilitation of the Cemetery of
Romanian Soldiers from the village Ciripcău. Almost all of those edifices
could be included into a touristic national route.

The caroling in the south of Bessarabia, in the lower course of the Prut, the
Danube and the Black Sea has been preserved in its old archaic forms, varied
and very rich. In this ethnographic area we will find a great variety of carols
such as: the carol of the house, of the baby, of the lad, of the girl, of the young,
of the engaged, of the widow, of the priest, of the hunter, of the fisherman, of
the dead, the carol of the falcon, the carol of the vine, at the vineyards of the
Greeks, the breath of the sea, of the star, etc. All these carols are of great
artistic value. From the perspective of protecting the intangible cultural
heritage, this cultural area is of prime importance both for the Romanian
culture, as a whole, and for the European one.

The article is devoted to revealing the value characteristics and peculiarities of
the young generation in the modern world. Modern youth is considered as
socially active people with certain value norms. In the conditions of the
destruction of social ideals and ongoing social transformation, the formation of
spiritual and moral values of youth and students is especially important. The
presence or absence of these values will also determine the level of work
performed by future specialists, especially in the socially significant areas of
healthcare, education and other equally important areas of life of modern
people. The most important transformations are the systemic sociocultural one
that began in the late 90s and led to the formation of a new sociocultural
matrix, which influenced the worldview, forming individual sociocultural,
moral values of the youth of the 21st century. This article provides a study of
the life priorities, values and ideals of young people through the sociocultural
prism of their being. In the social and psychological aspects, students
compared to other groups of people have the highest educational level, the most
active consumption of culture and a high rate of cognitive motivation.
However, recent decades show that the continuity of cultural and historical
traditions is not reflected in the life of the young generation. This is manifested
in youth behavior patterns, in language and cultural preferences. The author
of the work gives examples of educational work with students of the Izmail
State University of Humanities in the system of values and moral standards of
upbringing of the young generation and demonstrates the fact that modern
students are the central period in the formation of the personality as a whole,
and the manifestation of a wide variety of interests. It is at this age that the
socialization of a person as a future professional is manifested. This
circumstance should be taken into account by the teacher in the content,
problems and methods of organizing educational activities and pedagogical
communication with students at the university. One of the most important
principles of the modern educational system is reliance on the initiative and
creativity of students. This principle is implemented in the form of student
self-government. Self-government plays an important role in the formation of moral qualities of the individual. Student self-government at the Izmail State
University of Humanities is a means by which the student community realizes
its rights, duties and initiatives by making decisions and implementing them
in cooperation with the administration. The creation of the Center for
Academic Integrity also contributes to the fruitful development of aesthetic
and moral principles among students of our university. Academic integrity is
a set of ethical principles and space-defined rules that should guide the
participants of the educational process during training, teaching and
conducting scientific (creative) activities in order to ensure confidence in
learning outcomes and / or scientific (creative) achievements.
