Abstract:
This article explores the fundamental concept of composition in the context of artistic creation, analyzing it from its dual perspective of intentional process and essential organizational element. Composition is defined as the intrinsic way of integrating constituent elements into a coherent and expressive whole, going beyond simple visual selection and involving a complex organization of spatial relationships, proportions, and balance. The role of composition in mediating the unity between content and form is highlighted, as well as its importance in various artistic fields and even in natural structures. The article emphasizes the way in which composition influences the perception and interpretation of the work of art, reflecting artistic competence and facilitating the effective transmission of the artistic message. It is noted that understanding composition, both as a process and as a structure, is crucial for the analysis and appreciation of the artwork.
