Abstract:
To study objects or processes occurring in the real world, we make extensive use of various mathematical modeling methods, which in themselves present a powerful means of understanding numerous phenomena, processes and laws. Here we must note that the constructed mathematical model cannot reflect all the diverse and complex features of the studied phenomenon. When modeling, something will be primary, and something − secondary, which can be neglected. ”When constructing the mathematical model, those characteristics of the modeling object are highlighted which, on the one hand, are informative, on the other hand, allow for mathematical formalization” [1, p. 4]. In the presented paper, the application of differential equations to solving problems in the field of natural sciences is researched, in which the theoretical foundations of first-order ordinary differential equations with separable variables were taken into consideration. The mathematical apparatus for solving differential equations allows us to solve problems in the practice of natural sciences.
