Abstract:
The European project "GIS for Gist of Europe", implemented at the "Unirea" Technical College in Pașcani, integrates modern digital tools like GIS into education to support the understanding and mitigation of climate change. The optional course "Geography of the Future" offers students a practical and interactive learning experience, developing digital skills, critical thinking, and environmental responsibility. The course combines theory with real-world applications, preparing young people to become active citizens in a changing world.
