Abstract:
The relevance of this research topic is due to the major changes made, but also to the need to introduce and implement new operational constructs in the socio-educational systems of Moldova to optimize the socio-educational integration of children with special educational needs. Intersectoral coordination is established as an operational construct in facilitating the socio-educational integration of children with SEN through the synergistic orchestration of resources and skills in the fields of education, social assistance, health and community governance. Intersectoral coordination is an essential mechanism for ensuring the socio-educational integration of children with special educational needs by harmonizing efforts between education, social assistance, health and other related fields. In a fragmented system, the lack of collaboration between institutions – schools, social services, local authorities and non-governmental organizations – perpetuates exclusion, limiting access to adapted education and community support. The social and educational integration of children with SEN is achieved by activating an efficient intersectoral collaboration mechanism, which facilitates the establishment and consolidation of a functional partnership for the educational support of children with disabilities.
