Abstract:
The new preschool curriculum promotes a child-centered approach, encouraging creativity, initiative, and critical thinking, in contrast to traditional methods based on memorization. A creative child is characterized by curiosity, independence, a rich imagination, and a desire to explore and understand the world through their own efforts. The role of the educator is essential in identifying and stimulating creative potential, creating an environment conducive to free expression and individual development. Factors that can block creativity include both internal influences (emotional, cognitive) and external ones (social, cultural, familial). Creativity education should be accessible to all children, as everyone can demonstrate originality and innovation in daily activities, not just those with exceptional abilities.
