Abstract:
The Romanian and universal history curriculum proposes a variety of controversial topics for study. The objective the history teacher faces is to identify effective teaching strategies and that stage of the lesson that would provide students with the opportunity to research information from different historical sources that express referential approaches and visions of certain events, phenomena and historical processes in order to reveal the historical truth. A topic that raises many questions is the collapse of the Russian Empire and the fate of the Romanov imperial family.
