Abstract:
The article below analyzes political myths as a structural element of political culture and a reality of the contemporary period. Troughout history, political myths have been used as an instrument of in uence on society, which aimed to simplify reality and provide answers regarding the meaning of political life, society management, communication. We use of political myths in cynical interests are real challenges of contemporary democracy. They can afect the perception of various aspects of life, from culture and traditions to social and economic behavior. Education, development of civic sense, development of media culture, etc. can help combat the negative e ects of political myths in contemporary society.
