Abstract:
Pandemia Coovid-19 a avut un impact negativ semnificativ asupra sectorului turistic global, inclusiv în Uniunea Europeană. Restricțiile de călătorie, falimentul IMMurilor, și frica de infectare au dus la o scădere drastică a cererii turistice. Pe măsură ce țările membre ale Uniunii Europene exclud restricțiile și modalitățile de deplasare devin mai accesibile sectorul turistic se află într-o fază de relansare. Uniunea Europeană a intervenit prompt cu măsuri echilibrate și necesare cu scopul de stopa pandemia și ulterior a elaborat un set de politici cu scopul de a oferi un nou impuls acestui sector economic. Tentativele instituțiilor europene de a ajuta IMM-urile din domeniul turismului au fost sesizate încă din perioada pandemică, dar eficiența politicilor din domeniu se resimte abia acum. Relansarea turismului european este posibilă doar datorită cooperării loiale a tuturor statelor membre.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significantly negative impact on the global tourism sector, including in the European Union. Travel restrictions, the bankruptcy of SMEs, and the fear of infection have led to a drastic drop in tourist demand. As EU member states lift restrictions and travel becomes more accessible, the tourism sector is in a recovery phase. The European Union has intervened promptly with balanced and necessary measures to stop the pandemic and subsequently developed a set of policies to give new impuls to this economic sector. The attempts of European institutions to help SMEs in the tourism sector were noticed even during the pandemic, but the efficiency of policies in this area is only now being felt. The revival of European tourism is only possible thanks to the loyal cooperation of all member states.
