Abstract:
Mathematics can be seen as a tool with which to create models or representations that allow us to study real phenomena. Although generally considered a cold science, mathematics can be a real source of artistic inspiration and a means of finding novel avenues of expression in fine art. Mathematical activity is approached in an interdisciplinary vision, establishing several mathematical relationships and applications with children's actions in drawing, modeling, painting, practical activity, construction games. The activities with mathematical content in kindergarten aim to stimulate the intellectual development of children, contribute to the gradual transition from concrete-intuitive thinking to symbolic, abstract thinking, preparing children for the understanding and acquisition of mathematics.
