Abstract:
In the given article I analyzed and valorized the type of the modern woman in Romanian literature, because in a constantly evolving literary world, strong female characters have begun to take a central role. The role of these characters in the evolution of contemporary literature is also substantial. They have changed not only the approach of writers but also the expectations of readers. Through their presence, strong and modern female characters have brought a new breath to the current literary landscape, enriching its diversity and complexity. I also gave examples of modern women in successful contemporary novels. This analysis highlights that contemporary heroines are complex, autonomous and resilient, reflecting changes in society and the evolving role of women.
