Abstract:
This article analyzes the propaganda techniques used by the Soviet authorities in the USSR in order to form a specific system of ideologies, symbols and images. Soviet ideology was an integral part of the existence of the state from the beginning of its creation until the last days of its existence. One form of dissemination of ideology and its tools is propaganda. Communist propaganda permeated all spheres of social life and represented a powerful tool for manipulating public consciousness that ensured the dominance of the CPSU. Techniques used such as: ideological propaganda, cult of personality, agricultural propaganda, information manipulation, educational, cultural propaganda and demonization of the enemy were the most effective means of power management. Soviet propaganda in the USSR was concerned with creating its own model of the world.
