Abstract:
The geography teacher toils to build the Temple of Education, resonating with the Sustainable Development Goals enunciated globally. As a teacher, he succeeds in creating the constructivist didactic approach by actively organizing the students in the lesson, guiding them to analyze welcome media communications in the context of the studied subject. The discipline of Geography is a "magnet" of media information of the type Man - Nature - Society, in which numerous concepts are aligned: laws, rights, democracy, participation, responsibility. Thus, the student becomes a consumer of media information. The purpose of their integration in the didactic process is multivalent: to familiarize students with the rational use of their natural resources, respecting environmental legislation and educating the friendly relationship of man with the environment, addressing the principle of sustainable education and knowledge of national and global values, promoting peace, good and protecting the quality of the environment. Media communications, being in tandem with the thematic contents in the geography teaching-learning-evaluation process, facilitate the development of students' critical spirit and self-evaluation, forming their attitudes and values.
