Abstract:
The article focuses on the impact of strategies involving lateral thinking in interpreting the literary text, but also on the fact that the methods used do not achieve the desired impact if they are not accompanied by the necessary attitude, because a certain skill develops if we have a formal framework in which to put into practice specific tools. The most effective way to develop lateral thinking is to use as many tools as possible to achieve the same effect. Besides, if we apply more examples and more techniques, the student can come to understand, decipher any type of material and even adapt it to real situations. The whole process depends on the teacher, because he must practice it sustainably, not just as a possibility. Lateral thinking lessons include abstract terms in the explanations provided, but the most effective way to solve it is real involvement, and a stringent factor in stimulating lateral thinking is the way the mind works, which is correlated with the nature of the information received and the pace at which it is received.
