Abstract:
In this article, is addressed the problem of training the competence of the reception of literary texts for the students of primary level of education. It is elucidated the methodological approach of training the competence of reception of literary texts for students of primary level of education, which can be more effective, if the teachers would organize correctly activities for understanding epic texts, respecting the three stages of reception: comprehension, interpretation and application. The epic texts will not be understood by the students of the primary education level only through a simple reading, but it is necessary to carry out a thorough analysis in order to capitalize on its content. The article represents the analysis and interpretation of results of the applied questionnaire, on the basis of which we conclude that in order to eradicate the difficulties encountered by primary school students in the formation of the competence of reception epic texts, teachers must organize didactic activities of reception in accordance with the particularities of age and apply specific reception methods: explanatory reading, problematizing, algorithmizing, etc.
