Abstract:
A game was used as part of a substance use prevention lesson in a session with parents of 12th grade students. The game was used through the lens of Jacob Levi Moreno's sociodrama. This game was created and applied to parents of 12th graders. The parents of the 12th grade students interacted and were made to play individually, create, and play in a small group of 2 people called the family, later the group grew to reach the level called the neighborhood, and finally in a larger group called in the community, the consumption of psychoactive substances among their own children was discussed as a general theme. The theoretical part was not discussed, and the students' parents were left to discuss during the game what they knew, and to work in teams to come up with the solutions they considered to the issue that was discussed. Afterwards, the played aspects were brought up. This lesson in the meeting with the parents was the first of the meetings with this group of parents.
