Abstract:
Today`s child is tomorrow`s adult, so the well-being of the former determines the well-being of the other and vice versa. Understanding this perspective and its trans-generational impact makes us aware of the extent to which the child`s development in a safe physical and emotional environment has effects over time determining the quality of life. When we refer to the well-being of adults, we also include the scope of their achievement as parents, so since this role is taken over, direct and indirect links are inevitably established with the well-being and psychological security of the child. Base on the fact that the child and the parent are part of system that interacts affectively and behaviorally, the role of the parent is considered very important for the child`s well-being and especially for his psychological safety. Being aware of these aspects, the adult as a parent, investing in the development of his well-being active in the process of optimizing his well-being, will certainly favor the improvement of relations with children and achieve that state of happiness, which everyone strives for. This optimization measure can be carried out both individually, consciously, and with the support of those around using the proposed opportunities.
