Abstract:
The research was carried out in various biotopes during the years 1975-2023. The highest values of the relative density of small rodents were recorded in the wheat field 30% and alfalfa 24.6% in the autumn period, followed by the agrocenosis ecotone with the forest – 23.1% and the forest canopy with 19.9%. An increase in the value of the Simpson diversity index from April (0.38) to June (0.52) was determined for the rodent community in the winter wheat field and a decrease in the forest coenosis from April (0.54 ) up to 0.46 in June. In September, for the corn field, the value of the diversity index is 0.48, and for the forest ecosystem - 0.4, with a decrease compared to June.
