Abstract:
The space occupied by the family in a household includes the house or dwelling, the outbuildings, the fence, the garden, etc. In the area of Codrilor Orheiului, even if it is a forest area, in some localities, including the village of Brănești, a culture of stone predominates, where most of the building elements of a household are made of stone. From a constructive and organizational aspect, more than half of the village's households are designed, especially during the period of the 19th century - the beginning of the 20th when most such households were structured.
