Abstract:
In the current work, the results regarding the application of the experiment method are presented in order to make the teaching-learning-evaluation process for biology hours more efficient. This method has been chosen, because it forms the students with independent research and identification of new knowledge, collecting the necessary information and applying them in practice. The investigations were carried out within the public institution the Pro Success High School, from the municipality of Chisinau, with the involvement of the students from the 10th grade. From the biology curriculum for high school, the 10th grade, the theme was selected: „The individual development of flower plants”. The purpose of the work consisted in studying the individual development of flowers plants, for example sunflower, through the biological experiment, as well as for training research skills. In order to understand the biological processes and phenomena that take place at the initial stages of flower plant development, we set out to install an experience with sunflower. As an object of study, two sunflower hybrids served. The experiment lasted 15 days. During this period, by the observation method, the students identified the initial developmental phases of the sunflower plantings. They compared some morphological parameters of the seedlings taken in the study and have established some differences in the speed of growth and development of the two hybrids. For students this method was very attractive and caused them to understand more quickly how the sunflower plants are developed.
