Abstract:
The article discusses the experience of using mind maps in teaching chemistry. The origin of mind maps is revealed, recommendations for their creation. Mind maps are a convenient way to develop thinking, solve problems creatively and make notes to memorize a large volume of information. At the same time advances in science have a significant impact on people’s mental maps and can fundamentally change the way they understand the world and their place in it. Mind maps are useful tools for improving memory, creativity, and productivity. They can be created manually or using specialized mind mapping software. Mind maps can be a useful tool to organize and structure key information and concepts in chemistry so that students can more easily understand and retain the material. In the educational process, mind maps are a modern, interesting learning tool.
