Abstract:
The novel Aglaia a Vădănii by Emilia Plugaru presents in its pages the life of the Moldovan village during the Soviet period, after perestroika. His protagonist is a beautiful woman, mother of five children, who raises them alone and educates them in the spirit of faith, verticality and human dignity. It is a novel that pays eulogy to Bessarabian women.
