Abstract:
Developing students' critical thinking is a competence inherent in the development of integral personality. To teach a student to think critically means to free them from constraints and stereotypes, but to agre at extent it means to prepare for the life that will permanently claim their ability to think on their own, to start a discussion, by admitting from the start that there is not one answer and only one correct solution. This article presents the didactic approach of a physical geography lesson of the Republic of Moldova in the 8th grade with the subject "General characterization of vegetation", in which several techniques of critical thinking development is applied.
