Abstract:
The Hydrographical District Prut-Danube-Black Sea has a much lower contribution to the water supply of Republic of Moldova, which is due to a pronounced agrarian and rural character. The main research objectives of this study are: assessment of water captured and water used by sources and usage categories; analysis of water losses; establishing trends and limits of captured and used waters; identification of problematic situation existing of water use; updating the Management Plan of this hydrographical district.
