Abstract:
To evaluate the road transport network system, a set of indices is used that characterizes the connectivity of the study area as a source of mobility. The connectivity of a transmission network is defined as the degree of completion of connections between nodes. A higher degree of connectivity within a transmission network indicates that the transmission network is ef icient. The article presents some indices used to measure the connectivity of the road network in the Republic of Moldova, namely, the cyclomatic index, the diameter of the graph, the degree of connectivity, the density of graphs and the circuit index in the network. These indices were analyzed at administrative-territorial level.
