Abstract:
As a result of the interaction between manganese(II) acetate tetrahydrate, dianilineglyoxime (DAnH2) and 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid (1,3-bdcH2) in the molar ratio of 2:1:2 in the medium of ethanol and DMSO, a new complex compound of Mn(II) was obtained. His investigations revealed the formation of the centrosymmetric binuclear complex compound with the formula [Mn2(DAnH2)2(1,3-bdc)2(DMSO)4]. The exo-bidentate bideprotonated 1,3-bdc2- ligand is used as a bridging ligand in this compound. The structure is stabilized by intramolecular O–H···O hydrogen bonds between the DAnH2 and (1,3-bdc) components.
