Abstract:
In modern evaluation, the phrase "assessment criterion" is the central notion. The existence and judicious development of the evaluation criteria is essential for any type of assessment. The article interprets the meanings of the concept of 'assessment criterion' and describes models of interpretation of the criteria in the school assessment. Requirements for the development of evaluation criteria are presented in order to make the teaching-learning-assessment process more efficient.
