Abstract:
The author investigates in this article the current situation regarding the use of digital textbooks in the teaching process, their design and implementation aspects, and their impact on the teaching process. As information technology gains more strength in our society, there are more questions about its integration for communication, collaboration, and learning information. The education system is constantly following the example of society and incorporates more technology and digital content into classrooms. But teachers emphasize not only the need to use digital educational resources of different types but also, lately, imperatively focus on integrating interactive digital textbooks in the instructional-educational process. The analysis of the possibilities of implementing interactive digital textbooks in education is carried out within the research project "Development and implementation of interactive digital textbooks in pre-university education" (State Program 2020-2023, project figure 20.80009.0807.25).
