Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to present the importance of using the STEAM approach in education, from the perspective of developing students' creativity, increasing their motivation and involvement in the learning process. In a broad sense, the term STEAM covers science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. But to be ‗STEAM expert‘ does not mean that you must excel in every subject. Instead, it requires transferable skills, independent of any one specific domain of subject knowledge. The benefits it offers are many: developing problem-solving skills, facilitating cooperation, teamwork and communication, stimulating innovation, reducing student anxiety.
